Important Information for Winter 2021 International Applicants

IRCC study permit processing has been impacted by COVID-19. It is important that you check IRCC study permit processing times and understand current IRCC guidelines and requirements, as well as review our Winter 2021 on campus start dates and 2020-21 withdrawal and refund information, before applying to MITT. Application fees are non-refundable.

MITT’s Winter 2021 study permit deadlines are:

  • Post-secondary programs: December 13, 2020
  • Post-graduate programs: December 3, 2020

Out of an abundance of caution and to safeguard our international applicants at this challenging time, for Winter 2021 programs, MITT will only process international applications with a valid Canadian study permit or study permit approval, and will use IRCC study permit processing times to guide admissions decisions. Students completing a prerequisite program in Canada with a study permit application in process will also be prioritized – this includes students completing MITT’s English for Academic Purposes programs at the English Language Institute.

As of October 19, 2020 applications submitted to a Winter 2021 program without a study permit, study permit approval or without implied status will not be processed and will not be considered for future intakes. Application fees are non-refundable. *This does not apply to English for Academic Purposes programs.

A reminder: MITT always prioritizes complete applications that include all documents required to make an admissions decision. Review our International How to Apply page and Application Guide for details on required documents.
